Since I was 17, I take care of a number of European reptiles, especially True lizards that are otherwise only known from the holidays at the Mediterranean Sea. In addition, some Geckos moved into my collection some time ago. All of them are tame by now and do not take refuge when you step in front of the terrarium. Some of them have even learned to eat out of my hand. Important with the keeping is a sufficient UV lighting (especially for the Europeans) and/or supply of vitamin D3 and calcium (especially for the females). All European reptiles need a hibernation.
